President Donald Trump is still facing low approval ratings, according to the latest poll from Rasmussen Reports.
According to figures from its Daily Presidential Tracking Poll that was released on Monday, A total of 44% of those surveyed approve of Trump's performance as President, while 55% disapproved.
The numbers released on Monday marks a 12% drop in approval for Trump from January 20, the day Trump was inaugurated as President. According to poll numbers released by Rasmussen on that day, 56% of those surveyed approved of Trump's performance, while 44% disapproved.
According to Rasmussen poll numbers, the last time a majority of those surveyed approved of Trump's performance was in poll numbers released on April 24, when 51% of those surveyed approved of his performance as President.
According to Rasmussen Reports, daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters, per night, and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. An online survey tool is also used to interview randomly selected participants, from a demographically diverse panels, for those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones.
The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 likely voters, according to Rasmussen Reports, is +/- 2.5 percentage points.
