Skyslide is coming to the west coast's tallest tower

A new thrill ride is coming to downtown LA. The US Bank Tower is the tallest tower on the west coast, and it will soon allow brave souls to slide down a glass chute 1,000 feet above the ground. Bank Tower owners OUE Limited announced the addition of the Skyslide made of clear glass 4 inches thick. You would be able to ride 36 feet from the slide from the 70th floor to the 69th floor along the outside of the building.

The photo rendering is from Skyspace architects Gensler.

They are also building an observation deck tourist attraction on top. The opening is projected to be in mid-2016.
