Middle school girl intentionally run over by car

A 14-year-old from southeast Houston is fighting for her life after intentionally being run over by a car outside of Cullen Middle School Friday.

The girl's mother is devastated and is determined to track down whoever almost killed her daughter. The disturbing video was recorded on a cell phone.

Eighth grader Dr'Breanna Hunter who goes by Bre nearly lost her life.

"This lady just literally ran her over like a piece of foil. Literally broke every piece of her body," the mother, Aurelia Hunter said.

Her mom still has no clue exactly what triggered this horrifying ordeal. Bre remains in intensive care at Memorial Hermann where she was rushed into emergency surgery.

"She has a broken, crushed pelvis. Broken hips, broken ribs, broken leg. Her liver is split in two. She has pins in her hips. Pins in her legs," Hunter said.

Now along with praying for her daughter's healing, Aurelia Hunter wants justice. She says she knows exactly who is behind this from working with detectives, and running the car's license plate.

"You will go to jail, and you will look us in the face, and you will have to answer to a higher judge and say you didn't even stop to apologize. 'I'm sorry, I wasn't in my right state of mind,' nothing. You just up and left," Hunter said, "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I don't care who did what. I wouldn't do that to a child."

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help with Bre's medical expenses.
