VIDEO: Judge scolds, jails domestic violence victim for missing court

A Florida judge is under fire for her decision to send a domestic violence victim to jail for failing to show up to court.

The woman was supposed to testify at the trial of her baby's father, but failed to appear.

"Why didn't you show up to court?" Seminole County Judge Jerri Collins asked the sobbing woman.

The woman mentioned she had "anxiety" issues and was "not in a good place" at the July hearing.

Collins was unmoved by the excuses, and imposed a three-day sentence on the woman.
