Wedding vendors hold contest for first responders

A group of wedding vendors are giving back in a big way. They have all decided to donate their services to provide a free wedding to first responders.

A venue, flowers, catering, cake, pictures, a wedding can be a costly venture, but for one lucky couple it will all be free.

"We're doing a giveaway for a first responder," said Leslie Cole.

Bella Rose Estate will be choosing one couple that works as a first responder for the wedding.

"Firefighter, Police, current or former military," she said.

Once chosen everything from the music to the flowers, even the photography will all be taken care of.

"We kind of wanted to give back to the community, and appreciate the members who give back to all of us," said Cole.

"I myself served in the US Marine Corps, my wife is also in law enforcement, we have local family members in law enforcement, and out of state we have a lot of friends. We have done a lot of police and firefighter weddings in town, we know the community pretty well and wanted to reach out, some of them have a more difficult time than others, and just to show our appreciation for their hard work to keep us safe and help us," said George Walsh.

The couples have until June 5 to apply; the drawing will take place on June 8.

The winning couple will be able to invite 50 of their closest friends and family to a wedding they won't soon forget.
