The three players are ranked as the fourth, eighth and 12th best prospects respectively in the Yankees farm system by MLB.com.

He was selected on June 29 and started that day at Chicago (AL) in right field before rupturing his right patellar tendon with two outs in the first inning. Fowler was placed on the 10-day DL the next day. The 22-year-old left-handed hitter batted .293 with 19 doubles, eight triples 13 home runs and 43 RBI in 70 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He was leading the International League in triples, ranked second in slugging (.542) and extra base hits (40), third in hits (87), tied for third in doubles, tied for fourth in runs (49) and fifth in OPS (.871) at the time of his promotion. Fowler was the Yankees 18th round selection in the 2013 draft and is a .282 career hitter with 39 home runs and 251 RBI in 421 games in five seasons in the minors

Mateo began the season at Single-A Tampa of the Florida State League and was batting .240 in 69 games when he was promoted to Double-A Trenton June 27. He hit .300 in 30 games with the Thunder and is batting a combined .258 with 25 doubles, 11 triples, eight home runs and 37 RBI in 99 games overall.
