Cardinals aware of Christian Kirk arrest before draft

The Arizona Cardinals say they were aware before they drafted him that wide receiver Christian Kirk had been arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and property damage.

Scottsdale police say Kirk was seen throwing rocks at cars with some friends near the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Feb. 3.

Kirk was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and property damage.

The Cardinals say they were aware of the arrest prior to the NFL Draft and they believe the incident will be resolved in the near future.

The Cardinals drafted Kirk in the second round. He was a standout at Saguaro High in Scottsdale and played at Texas A&M.
