MLB: Torey Lovullo is 2017's National League Manager of the Year

Officials with Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that Torey Lovullo with the Arizona Diamondbacks is the 2017 National League Manager of the Year.

The decision was announced on MLB's verified Twitter page Tuesday afternoon.

Lovullo was appointed as the Diamondbacks' 8th manager in November 2016. According to a news release at the time, Lovullo served as a Bench Coach with the Red Sox for four seasons before his time with the Diamondbacks.
