"We are absolutely ready and we are absolutely going to have this stadium ready to open on August 26 for our first exhibition game," said Mike Egan, project executive with AMB Group.

Officials hosted a tour of the stadium for members of the media on Thursday.

The concession stands and restrooms on the first two levels are complete and employees will begin moving into the 60,000 square feet of office space next week.

"We are in the home stretch," said Egan. "We've got 2000 workers a day on the site."

Workers are installing about 1100 stadium seats per day and should be finished by the end of June. The stadium turf is scheduled to go in by the end of July.

Senior Vice President of Fan Experience Mike Gomes said everything in the stadium was designed with fans in mind.

Ticket holders will have access to the special social areas on every level including the Beer Garden, the 100 Yard Club and "The Perch." They have added more stairs and escalators to make it easier for fans to get around and explore all that Mercedes-Benz has to offer.

The concourses and concession stands were also planned to help fans enjoy the experience. There are about 2,000 flat screen televisions installed in the concourses so that people who leave their seats to grab a snack or use the bathroom will still know what happens on the field.

Officials also worked to streamline the concession stands by setting round prices like $4, instead of $4.25, so that employees do not have to make as much change.

"If we can save seconds, they compound themselves into minutes of saved waiting time, which is really what's most important for the fan," explained Gomes. "That's how we're changing the game."
