America's Most Wanted: Utah Man in 2004 Phoenix Murder

A Salt Lake City man is one of America's Most Wanted. He's accused of robbing and killing an armored truck guard outside of an Ahwatukee movie theater in 2004.

Police say Jason Derek Brown shot and killed 24-year-old Robert Keith Palomares and stole a bag containing about $50,000 in cash, on Nov. 29, 2004. Police say he then fled the scene on a bicycle.

During the investigation, detectives found Brown's fingerprints on the bicycle, and found that he made a series of large cash deposits into his bank account in the following days.

Brown, a toy salesman, was apparently in debt and had defaulted on at least one large loan.

A federal arrest warrant issued has charged Brown with Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution, Armed Robbery, and First Degree Murder.

Detectives believe Brown could be in Mexico, western Canada, Salt Lake City, Redding, Calif., or Portland, Ore.
