MESA, Ariz. -

Police are asking for your help as they search for a bank robbery suspect who got away with an odd choice for a getaway vehicle.

The suspect -- being dubbed the "Bucket List Bandit" robbed a Chase Bank on Ellsworth Road in Mesa back on May 22.  Authorities say a small handgun, believed to be a revolver was seen during the robbery.

He's described as a white male in his 60s, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with a white beard and deep voice.

The suspect took off from the scene on a bicycle.

"A bicycle..hopefully may resonate with someone they know whose in their 60s..maybe has a criminal record and rides around on a mountain bike," said Sgt. Darren Burch of Silent Witness.

A man with a similar description robbed a Bank of America branch on January 17 near East Broadway and Greenfield Roads.  A handgun was also seen during this robbery.
