PHOENIX -

Authorities say a San Tan Valley couple has pleaded guilty in a bestiality case.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 38-year-old Shane Walker and 33-year-old Sarah Dae Walker both pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to commit bestiality. They are scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 9.

The couple and 29-year-old Robert Aucker of Gilbert were arrested in February.

County sheriff's deputies say the three suspects drove to a prearranged location intending to commit bestiality with a dog.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio said they posted an ad on the Craigslist web site entitled, "WIFE LOOKING FOR A K9." He said they intended to find a canine to fornicate with the wife while the husband and friend looked on.

The owner of the golden shepherd was an undercover detective.

Sheriff's officials say bestiality is a class 6 felony.
