Richard Branson helps Scottsdale siblings get funding for password storing site

PHOENIX -

Valley siblings launched a password storing website with the help of eccentric billionaire Sir Richard Branson.

Brother and sister duo, Stacey and Scott Ferreira, are from Scottsdale and are the founders of MySocialCloud.com.

My Social Cloud safely stores all usernames and passwords to the sites you visit most.

Stacey saw the following tweet by Richard Branson last year:

Enjoy intimate cocktails with me in Miami on June 15th - $2,000 to charity. For details email: Community.investment@fly.virgin.com

- richardbranson (@richardbranson) June 10, 2011

Afterward, she was determined to get her and her brother to the event to meet and mingle with Branson. Their parents spotted them the cash and the Ferreira's met Branson and eventually introduced them to his friend Jerry Murcck of Insight Venture Partners.

A few months later, My Social Cloud got what they were hoping for: about $1 million in funding.

FOX 10's Dan Spindle talked with the Ferreira's about their success.
