Over 60 cyclists started a 430-mile bike ride in Scottsdale to raise awareness and money for injured military service members and their families.

The fifth annual Ride430 Challenge started in Scottsdale and will end in four days at Camp Pendleton in San Diego.

Sixty-four riders have biked over 2,000 miles to prepare for the event. The ride will take them on mountain climbs and across deserts in scorching temperatures.

The team will travel more than 100 miles a day; that's the equivalent of running a marathon, every day, for four straight days.

FOX 10's Diane Ryan talks to riders before their send-off.
