The Pinal County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man who they say was transporting 110 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.
Thursday evening, a deputy stopped a vehicle headed westbound on I-8 after seeing the driver commit numerous traffic violations.
The driver, identified as 41-year-old Hector Torres Adorno, was acting nervous and a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle, according to PCSO.
The deputy noticed a blue blanket covering several bundles. He looked under the blanket and saw 5 packaged bundles of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $77,000.
PCSO seized the marijuana and Adorno's 2005 Buick SUV.
Adorno was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, and transportation of marijuana. He was later turned over to ICE.
It was then found that Adorno was living with a fake Social Security number and had been deported from the United States 7 times.
