He admitted to shooting and killing his two little boys while going through a divorce, but on Wednesday, a jury decided if Andre Leteve should be convicted of first degree murder.

After two weeks of testimony, it only took the jury 20 minutes to find 40-year-old Leteve guilty on two counts of first degree murder.

Leteve expressed no emotion as the jury found him guilty of murdering his two sons, 5-year-old Alec and 1-year-old Asher, inside the family's Scottsdale home in March, 2010.

Leteve's attorney's never denied he killed his two boys, but said it was not a pre-meditated attack, but rather a desperate act by a man going through financial problems and an ugly divorce.

Prosecutors said Leteve had planned to shoot his sons and then kill himself, even writing a suicide note to his wife Laurie three days before, which he had his sons sign.

Leteve survived a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was even able to call 911 the morning of the shootings.

911 Operator: "Okay, what is going on?"
Leteve: "I just shot and killed my sons and I shot myself."
911 Operator: "You did what?"
Leteve: "I shot and killed my sons."

Laurie Leteve did not say anything about the verdict as she left the courthouse in downtown Phoenix Wednesday.

The jury will begin the next phase next week, determining a sentence for Leteve, who could be facing the death penalty for killing his sons.

By finding him guilty of first degree murder, the jury verdict shows they did believe Leteve planned the murders in advance.
