During a Thursday storm briefing, Gov. Chris Christie said despite Wednesday's nor'easter, New Jersey still continues to make progress more than a week after Hurricane Sandy.

As of Thursday, Christie says 77 percent of the state's schools are now open and operating while 80 percent of the state's school districts are open to students. Christie says just two days ago the numbers were much lower.

More homes across the state are also getting their power back.

Christie says more than 390,000 people are still without power across the state - 220,000 from Hurricane Sandy and 167,000 from the nor'easter.

There are also still 11 drinking water systems in New Jersey under boil water advisories, including four in Ocean County, five in Sussex County, one in Passaic County and one in Warren County.

Christie says millions of dollars have been raised in New Jersey for victims of the storm. Christie said the website launched Sunday and run by his wife, First Lady Mary Pat Christie, has raised, $8.5 million in just the last two days.
