MESA, Ariz. -

Well if you're looking for a good deal, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are long gone, but for true bargain hunters, there's an alternative.

There's a fun place to shop that most people don't even know about. Welcome to the city of Mesa Surplus Warehouse.

It's like a treasure hunt, where you can find just about anything. Things you really don't need, to killer deals on TVs, computers, even jewelry. An alternative to your typical Christmas shopping.

A lot of this stuff is unclaimed police evidence, or surplus the city of Mesa doesn't need anymore.

Some is even property that's been seized.

"We never know what's going to come in, how long it's going to stick around and what's coming up next," says Sherri Power, City of Mesa Surplus Warehouse.

Parents, if you have a kid in band, you know how expensive instruments can be. Well they have all kinds and they're 50 percent off, like this trumpet for $850. 50 percent off for the next couple weeks.

The surplus warehouse is open every Tuesday and Thursday, but from now until December 20th, they're having special markdowns -- $20 off computers, up to 75 percent off bikes. The warehouse it's just off Power and Adobe in East Mesa.

Last year the city made $200,000 to put into the general fund.
