Local Organization Offers Low Cost Computers To Struggling Families

Posted: Updated:

Teamchildren is a non-profit organization that wants to get low cost computers into the homes of needy families.  To date, they have distributed about 15,000 computers!

This morning, on Good Day, Robert Toporek showcased some of the models that teamchildren offers at a reduced cost.

The organization accepts donations from companies that have an overstock of older computers.  They are refurbished and can be priced hundreds of dollars below retail price.   They offer laptops for as little as $200.

The models come loaded with learning software.

If you head over to teamchildren.com, you will find an application to buy one of these computers at the reduced cost.
