A Yuma woman considered a "trusted traveler" was arrested for trying to smuggle more than $141,000 worth of cocaine into the U.S. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say 46-year-old Maria Valle was a member of the Secure Electronic Network for Traveler's Rapid Inspection (SENTRI). Officers at the Port of San Luis were alerted by a narcotic detection dog that there were drugs in Valle's sedan. Officers say they found six packages of cocaine in her car and more packages in her purse. Valle, her vehicle and the cocaine were handed over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
