In case you haven't checked the calendar, today is December 12, 2012, or 12/12/12 as some people are calling it.
It's a date that a lot of people have been waiting for, including brides and expectant mothers.
A date like this only happens once a century, so getting married or having your baby on a day like this is kind of a big deal.
Is 12 your lucky number? Many today are claiming it as theirs. From birthdays new and old, and even marriages, 12/12/12 is bringing valley people some good luck.
Today at 12:12, on 12/12/2012, little baby Swayze came into the world.
"She's just been so good… Just been perfect," says mother Amanda Stegg.
All the twelves surrounding Swayze's birth is amazing to her parents and medical staff. Amanda and Bruce Stegg know this special birthday happens rarely.
"You ain't going to see it in her lifetime or our lifetime. To us, it's real special and you can always remember 12/12/12," says Bruce Stegg.
Also in Phoenix, another birthday on 12/12/12. Bess Danielson is turning 100 years young.
"She says I'm old and I said well mother you're very fortunate, not very many people who live to celebrate this 100th birthday," says daughter Patricia Hughes.
Bess was born in a little country town in Wisconsin, the oldest in a big family. She survived the Depression and has always loved music.
That's why today, loved ones sang her favorite songs.
"She's a very special lady, she's always been positive, full of life, loved to dance, sing. Everybody is celebrating this special day for her."
Beyond birthdays, another couple celebrated the important date by tying the knot.
"We're getting married!" exclaims Jasmine Martinez. "It's 12/12/12. It's a lucky day."
Jasmine Martinez became Mrs. Luis Torres today at the Downtown Justice Center.
From a birthday, to another, and a marriage, 12/12/12 seems to surely be lucky.
To keep up the lucky streak, the Torres couple is off to Vegas for their honeymoon in hopes of winning big. Maybe we all should buy that next Powerball ticket.
