MESA, Ariz. -

Mesa Police are looking for a man and woman who were involved in the theft of a donation canister off of a pharmacy counter.

Last Wednesday, a man and woman entered the Walgreens at 1142 W. Guadalupe Road. The male brought some items to the front register and appeared to distract the cashier while grabbing a canister containing charitable donations to Cardon Children's Hospital.

He then fled the store with the jar without paying for any merchandise.

A female companion who was seen arriving with the male was waiting in a silver 4-door compact car, possibly a Honda Fit.

It's not known how much money was in the jar when it was taken.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 28, 6'2" to 6'3", medium build, sleeve tats on both forearms, black hat (possibly ASU logo), white shirt (black graphics on front, possibly Bob Marley image), dark jeans, white athletic shoes with black laces.

The female suspect is described as a white female, early 20s, 5'4 to 5'6", slim build, blonde hair, glasses, white tank top with pink graphic design on front, torn blue jeans.
