Cycling studio uses rhythm of music to make exercise fun

Posted: Updated:

Looking for a way to lose your muffin top without while having fun? The owner of a new cycling studio says its possible.

Lisa Larson, owner of RhythmCycle in Scottsdale, creates cycling routines to the beat of music. Rather than making riders feel like they're riding on a hill somewhere, Larson makes her riders feel like they're riding in a club. She even uses black lights in some classes.

During one of Larson's classes, she says riders burn up to 1,200 calories per hour and bike a distance equivalent to 25 road miles.

The best part? Riders say they don't realize it because they're having too much fun.

Larson demonstrates her butt busting bike workouts and how to work out your arms while cycling.
