Nancy Grace talks Arias case with Troy Hayden

PHOENIX -

The Jodi Arias case is being broadcast nationwide, and it has drawn perhaps the most famous court commentator in the nation here to the valley -- Nancy Grace.

She is broadcasting her show from Phoenix for the duration of the Arias trial. She's been covering it wall to wall on her show for weeks.

I was the only local journalist to catch up with Grace. Nancy Grace told me she was drawn to this case because she was tired of seeing victim Travis Alexander dragged through the mud.

And she also admits to having a real curiosity about accused murderer Jodi Arias.

Pulling up in a shiny Cadillac Escalade, Nancy Grace brought her high drama, high wattage courtroom journalism to the valley.

When I met Nancy Grace today, she shared some strong opinions on what she thinks is going to happen.

"After predicting a conviction on both OJ Simpson and tot mom, I hate to strike out on this, but I'll go out on a limb and say there will be a conviction. Although... I was very very concerned about some of the jury questions about the roommates and the alibis. I mean, they said in their opening statement she did it, okay!"

Nancy Grace toured the Estrella Jail Monday to see the conditions that Jodi Arias is living in -- something FOX 10 viewers saw exclusively last week. She says Jodi herself is also a big reason she's here.

"I'm also curious like everybody else. I'm curious what this magic is that Jodi Arias works over everybody," she says. "Some kind of magic over every guy she meets -- and I hope from the bottom of my heart that does not include the 11 men on the jury."

Nancy Grace said she will stay in Phoenix for the duration of the trial. I will be in the courtroom every day as well.

The defense begins its case Tuesday, and the big question remains, will Jodi Arias take the stand?
