Intern who helped Giffords during shooting writes book

Posted: Updated:

It's been two years since the deadly shooting in Tucson. Last week, former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly spoke at congressional hearings on gun control.

Giffords continues to recover from the shooting.

One of the people credited with saving Giffords' life is her intern Daniel Hernandez.

He wrote a book called "They Call Me a Hero" that hit stores Tuesday.

Hernandez talks to FOX 10 about his new book.
