Gov. Jan Brewer met with other state leaders and President Obama in Washington and spoke about the experience on FOX News Channel.

In addition to attending the White House dinner on Sunday night, Brewer went to the Pentagon to discuss Homeland Security issues involving Arizona.

"He wasn't running for election..his elections are behind him and that he was going to do what he thought was right for the country and he wasn't going to look at polls like some politicians do..and that gave me a chill, because that tells me he is going to do whatever he wants to do," said Brewer on FOX News' "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren."

Brewer says she believes the American people want to see the deficit cut.
