Forbes magazine has released a list of America's most miserable cities and number one on the list is Detroit.
The city is in so much financial trouble and can't pay its bills. The state of Michigan may take over and run the city.
Detroit's home prices were off 35 percent in the past three years, which is the biggest drop in the country. The prices were at an average of $40,000 in the city.
It also has the highest rate of violent crime in the country. According to the FBI, Detroit has 1,052 violent crimes per 100,000 people.
