COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -

Tips from the public have resulted in the arrests of 3 people in connection to a burglary and theft in Cottonwood.

The music equipment was stolen from a shed behind a residence in Cottonwood, in the 1000 block of Territory Trail, Cottonwood.

The shed was unlocked, located inside a fenced yard. The suspects made access through an adjoining alleyway.

The suspects are identified as 23-year-old Mitchell Moreno, 18-year-old Charlie Heath, and 18-year-old Gabriel Harman. At the time of the investigation, all 3 suspects were living in an area adjacent to the victim's neighborhood.

After receiving tips from the public, deputies made contact at the home of Mitchell Moreno. While inside his home, the detective saw one of the stolen drums. His roommate was caught in the process of trying to hide a stolen guitar.

They all denied involvement, but detectives are confident the physical evidence will put them at the crime scene.

They face charges including burglary, trespassing, theft with intent to deprive, and theft with control of known stolen property.

Close to 95 percent of the stolen goods have been recovered.
