Teen says he was robbed at gunpoint while waiting for school bus

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (WJBK) -

A 13-year-old boy said he was robbed while waiting for a school bus at the corner of Seven Mile and Eureka on Detroit's east side early Monday morning.

"I stood at my normal bus stop and I waited," he said.  "The bus was late, as usual."

He spotted a car circling, then he said the robber got out and made his move.

"He's like give me everything you've got and pulled out his gun," he explained.  "He took my jacket, my shoes and my phones."

Sources told me the 13-year-old wasn't the only victim.  Detroit police believe at least five other people were robbed Monday all on the east side waiting near bus stops.

Police have two suspects in custody.
