"Naked Carjacker" suspect withdraws guilty plea

A naked man was seen running through a Scottsdale intersection moments after police say he carjacked a driver and caused a crash back in June 2012.

It appeared as if this case was going to come to an end in court Friday, but there was a last minute surprise from the accused "naked carjacker" and his legal team.

The suspect, John Brigham, had agreed to a plea deal, but he backed out of it.

In court, his team announced they were withdrawing their guilty plea and would be going to trial to fight the carjacking charges.

One woman who was injured in the crash that Brigham is accused of causing during his naked tirade was in court.

After several months in a wheelchair and rehabilitation, she is barely able to walk.  She was expecting some closure, but now she's going to have to wait.

"I'd like to see him have to go away for a long time.  I will never get what he's taken away, but with him off the streets I will feel safe," she said.  "I feel like I'm not as good as I should be..I feel broken."

In addition to carjacking, Brigham faces robbery and aggravated assault charges.
