Man sentenced to prison for fatal Tucson shooting

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in a fatal shooting at a Tucson apartment complex.

Pima County prosecutors say 19-year-old A'mar DeWilliam Heartfield was sentenced Wednesday.

He pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder in the death of Michael Moore.

The 21-year-old Moore was found with gunshot wounds last April 29 in the parking lot of the complex. He later died at a hospital.

The Arizona Daily Star says Heartfield was arrested a few days after the shooting by the U.S. Marshals Service.
