2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski says no regrets to the beer drinking interview he did after he won the title. Keselowski stopped by Fox 11 Los Angeles to talk about the upcoming race at Auto Club Speedway. He says after he won the Sprint Cup he was having fun and sharing a beer with his crew and the fans. Sunday's NASCAR Auto Cup 400 pulls into Fontana Sunday at 12 noon.
Keselowski has pulled into first place in this year's Sprint Cup race, "Obviously we're off to my best start ever," Keselowski said. "That's really cool. I'm happy for my team and all that stuff.
Keselowski is hoping to repeat as Sprint Cup champ, after third place finishes at Bristol and Las Vegas. He has not won at Fontana. Tony Stewart is the defending race winner and has won two of the last three Cup races at the 2-mile track. Hendrick teammates Jimmie Johnson (five wins) and Jeff Gordon (three) are also multiple winners at ACS, as is Joe Gibbs Racing driver Matt Kenseth (three).
"We know as a team what we need. … Obviously we can't keep our feet still. We know that Kyle (Busch) and Jimmie (Johnson) are going to continue to make their cars better. We have to keep digging and push on our stuff, too."
