Police Make Arrest In Murder Of Philly Army Veteran

PHILADELPHIA -

Investigators announced on Monday the arrest of a 37-year-old woman in connection to the stabbing death of Peter Miles, an army veteran from Philadelphia.

According to Philadelphia police, Carolyn Harris was arrested Sunday for the murder of Miles.

Miles was found stabbed to death in a home on the 5500 block of Poplar Street on Friday. Officers say his body was found on the second floor of the home.

On Friday, neighbors told FOX 29 Miles was known as a handyman and was well known in the community.

Harris faces murder and possessing an instrument of crime charges, police said.
