PHILADELPHIA -

Mildred Cliett of Southwest Philadelphia says she was thrilled when FOX 29 got the dangerous eyesore next to her row house knocked down. But when demolition crews accidentally broke a window in her home, she turned to us for help.

The large dining room window left Cliett with cold air rushing into her home all winter long after it broke.

Boards and bed sheets were not enough to keep the air out.

FOX 29 called the demolition contractor to plead Cliett's case and on Tuesday, workers returned to her home to install a brand new window and screen.

Her dining room is now brighter and the house is warmer now that the broken window has been replaced.

The workers who removed the old, broken window say they have heard about FOX 29's "Getting Results" and asked us for help with their own problem.

FOX 29 is on the job.
