KFC launches Li’l Bucket Kids Meal

Posted: Updated:

KFC is trying to get customers hooked on the bucket at an early age. On Thursday, the restaurant chain launched a new kids meal called the Li'l Bucket.

The healthy kids meal includes Gogo Squeeze applesauce, a grilled drumstick, green beans, and a CapriSun Roarin' Water. The bucket has 210 calories, 4 grams of fat and 565 milligrams of sodium.

Kids also have other options, which include: extra crispy chicken tenders, mac n' cheese and milk.

That should be good news for a national consumer group. The Center for Science in the Public Interest issued a report Thursday that almost every kids meal you can buy has too much fat and sugar and not enough fruit or vegetables.
