SAN LUIS, Ariz. -

Police arrested a 20-year-old man Saturday afternoon who was wanted for questioning in connection to the murder of a Wellton woman.

Jorge "Pelon" Rios was arrested by San Luis Police for unrelated charges, but turned over to Yuma Police for questioning about the murder of 29-year-old Christal Figueroa on March 22.

After questioning, he was taken into custody by San Luis Police and booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, unlawful flight, reckless driving, endangerment, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

No charges stemmed from Figueroa's murder, which detectives are still actively investigating.
