(FOX 11) It's an incredible story: Conceiving a child less than two years after battling ovarian cancer.

But Shannon Miller is no stranger to long odds.

As a teen, Shannon dazzled crowds and took home the gold in both the 1992 and 1996 summer Olympics. She has since become the most decorated female gymnast in the world.

In 2011, while busy raising her young son, was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. Not only did she survive the cancer, Shannon is now pregnant with her second child.

The seven-time Olympic medalist talked to Studio 11 LA about her incredible journey.

Shannon, who banked her first child's cord blood and plans to bank her second child's blood, is a paid spokesperson for Stemcyte.
