Survey reveals top 10 restaurants for cheaters

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Morton's Steakhouse is listed as one of the best restaurants in Chicago and now, it's been given a new title: number one dining destination for cheaters.

An online survey, conducted by extra-marital affair dating website AshleyMadison.com, says the food chain is where husbands take their mistresses and wives take their boy toys.

"It's not surprising, but it's absolutely ridiculous," one diner says. "I mean, what else are they going to put out online?"

"It explains a lot because I've been here for lunch a couple of times and I would think that I would not have been hit on because I'm wearing a wedding ring but that had not been the case," another diner chimes in.

They don't just want steak while they're cheating. The Cheesecake Factory, Chili's, Del Frisco's and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse are also posh busy spots to get full before getting busy.

Noel Biderman is the owner of AshleyMadison.com and he says he asked about 42,000 of their members where they go and why. He says cheaters like the big chain restaurants because they're larger and the lights are usually low. Plus, in most cities these spots are close to hotels.
