TEMPE, Ariz. -

A Chihuahua stolen from its owner's home last week has been reunited with a family member.

Thursday, Maricopa County Animal Care and Control reported to Tempe Police the dog, "Lucky," had been turned into their facility.

Last Friday, two unknown suspects broke into a home near McClintock and Elliot. Not only did they take many items of value, they took the most valuable of all, 10-year-old Lucky. He was in his dog cage.

Lucky is doing just fine and was turned over to a family member. However, the rest of the stolen property has not been returned.

A neighbor witnessed the suspects leave the area and provided their descriptions to police. Police say these suspects may be responsible for other area burglaries.

They were driving a blue Toyota 4 door sedan with a personalized Environmental plate.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tempe Police.
