Search for hair salon robbers

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The NYPD is searching for two men who stormed into a hair salon in the Bronx and took off with customers' cash and credit cards.

Two children were among the victims.

Surveillance video from inside the salon shows one of the men pointing a gun at people.

Police say he ordered everyone to the back of the store while his partner stole the cash and credit cards.

The armed robbery occurred on April 21 at the El Truco salon on Ogeden Ave. in the Highbridge section of the borough.

One of the gunmen is seen in the security video wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a Yankees baseball cap and black pants.

He is described by police as black, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.

The other suspect is described as black, approximately 5'10", 170 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black Adidas jacket, a brown hoody and black Adidas pants and was carrying a red and black book bag.
