CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Boston Marathon bombing victim from Highland, Indiana says that she's feeling better.

59-year-old Beth Roche was in Boston to watch her daughter cross the finish line.

The explosion mangled one of her legs. She's already gone surgery and is facing a long recovery.

"I'm positive," Roche says of recover. "I look forward to being it. To walking again."

Roche ran the Chicago Marathon herself last year and she plans to do it again.

"My time wasn't that grand, but I finished," she says. "So I'm gonna do that again. I'm gonna do that again before I am 65."

Roche is one of many patients who are doing better. On Monday, doctors in Boston said the last patient who was in critical condition has been upgraded to "serious."
