Penguins visit kids for SeaWorld at School

Posted: Updated:

Valley students welcomed a few visitors to their school Friday for a wild presentation. SeaWorld at School made a special trip to Constitution Elementary.

SeaWorld at School gave 2nd and 3rd graders an up close look at a few animals you normally only see at the zoo or in the wild.

A peregrine falcon, a lemur, and two magellanic penguins were on display while students learned about the importance of wildlife conservation and animal care.

"It teaches you a lot about the animals and how to save them," said student D'Andre Hewlett. "I like the penguins. I was thinking it was going to poke me but then I looked at it, I'm like nope its not."

The presentation was part of the SeaWorld Cares Tour, highlighting the park's rescue programs.
