PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - A 53-year-old Arizona woman is facing drunken driving charges after authorities say she slammed her Jeep Liberty into a Sedona firehouse.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said Sunday that Cher Lyn crashed into the Sedona Fire District Station #3 last Friday. Investigators say no firefighters were injured in the crash but Lyn was transported to the Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood for treatment of minor injuries.

Lyn was eventually booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges including criminal damage and driving under the influence.

Officials say property damage to the firehouse is extensive and will require major repair to both vehicles and the bay door.

It was unclear if Lyn had an attorney.
