Real estate mogul Donald Trump says he wants to help people in need so he's giving away thousands of dollars.

Trump launched a new crowd funding site called FundAnything.com  

To celebrate, Trump gave away the cash on Wednesday. One of the recipients received $25K and the other received $15K.

"I found out a few days ago that I was selected by Donald Trump to be the recipient of his funding. I am funding my own musical career, said Celeste Buckingham, an aspiring singer/songwriter from Nashville.

"You can raise money for anything you need. A medical emergency, college, a school uniform. You go there, tell us your story and you tell your friends about it and sometimes Donald will pick some people to fund," said Bill Zanker, founder.

The website helps users raise money for causes and takes a percentage of the cash based on whether the project meets its goals or not.

Trump will be handing out briefcases filled with cash outside the Trump Tower at 57th St. and 5th Ave. in Manhattan on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m..

    Many of Major League Baseball's biggest stars will turn out for a special event at Brooklyn's MCU Park.  The 10th Annual New York-Penn League All-Star Game takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 19. The players will be on hand to sign autographs prior to the Celebrity/Civil Service Softball challenge. Rosanna Scotto will be the captain of the blue team. Greg Kelly will be playing, too.
