PHOENIX (AP) - 1 of 3 people arrested after a brawl with an Arizona State University fraternity last month has pleaded not guilty in the case.

Authorities say 20-year-old Caleb Everett entered his plea Monday. His next scheduled court appearance is July 5.

Tempe police say Everett was arrested shortly after the fraternity brothers were attacked by a group of people armed with baseball bats and handguns on April 28.

A fight over a high school girl from Surprise at the frat party escalated when Everett, the girl's boyfriend, and his friends came back reportedly looking for revenge.

Investigators say the suspects allegedly attacked five members of Delta Kappa Epsilon and two suffered serious injuries.

Everett and two others were charged with disorderly conduct and discharging a firearm.
