Coyotes player helps reunite man with missing wallet via Twitter

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

A Phoenix Coyotes player helped a tourist who lost his wallet by sending out a picture of it on Twitter.

Ryan Bodnar's trip started on a bad note when he left his wallet in the back of a cab while out in Scottsdale.

But 24 hours later, Paul Bissonette tweeted a picture of Ryan's ID to his 428,000 followers -- and was able to find the Alberta man!

Bissonette left the wallet with the cabbie, who returned it to Ryan on Sunday, cash and cards intact.

"I honestly can't be happier, it turned out really well cause otherwise that really would have ruined my trip," Bodnar told FOX 10.

Bodnar was happy that his friends are social media savvy and use Twitter, and fellow Canadian Paul Bissonette was able to save his trip.
