Robbery suspect seen on June 10 & 11, 2013

The FBI is searching for a suspect accused of robbing two banks in the metro area.

Investigators say on June 11 at 1:13 p.m., the man walked into the First Convenience Bank inside of a Wal-Mart store near Baseline Road and Country Club Drive.  He handed the teller a note demanding cash.  The teller complied, giving him a known amount of money.

The suspect fled the store and left in a blue/green or gray/green sedan.

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for another robbery that took place June 10 at a Desert Schools Federal Credit Union in Tempe near Elliot and Priest Drive.

At 4:41 p.m., authorities say the suspect entered the Wal-Mart store and proceeded to the credit union inside.  The man paced back and forth in front of the branch until the teller was finished with a customer.  That's when he gave the teller a demand note.

The teller dropped the note and gave a known amount of cash to the suspect.  The suspect then repeated his demands for the return of the note and wouldn't leave until the teller gave it to him.

Take a look at the surveillance photos.

During the FCB robbery, the suspect wear wearing a red ASU baseball cap, black sunglasses, a tan long sleeve button up shift, jeans and bright white tennis shoes.  At the DSFCU robbery, the suspect wore a tan/green baseball cap with the letter H on the front, black sunglasses, a tan button up shirt, blue jeans and was carrying a back pack.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, 5' 10" to 6' tall with a slender build and a mustache.

Investigators say a weapon was not shown during the robberies.
