"All right, full auto," the firing-range instructor tells a 9-year-old girl. She braces the Uzi submachine gun and opens fire at a black-silhouette target. But the recoil wrenches the fully automatic weapon upward, and the instructor is shot in the head and killed.

PHOENIX -

A man is now facing some serious charges after police say he picked up a 3-year-old girl and molested her in her own front yard.

We talked to the grandmother of the child who was watching the child at the time. Thursday afternoon, the grandmother was watching her two grandchildren, ages 1 and 3, playing in the front yard.

She describes the panic she felt when she spotted a man pick up her granddaughter.

“I haven’t gotten over it yet, I feel like it's a dream -- a nightmare,” says Magdalena Flores, still shaken [translated from Spanish].

“I had my grandkids playing in a plastic pool, and the phone rang and I ran to go get it and this person was standing there watching me and I saw him from the window and I came back out running and I saw that he already had the little girl.”

Flores yelled at the man, who took off running.

“He was touching her, I don't know what his intentions were, to kidnap her or something fast, but thanks to police they arrived immediately,” says Flores.

Police were already in the area and were able to arrest 30-year-old Raul Isaac Molina. He was hiding in a backyard just a few blocks away.

Police say he admitted to his involvement in the crime and is now facing charges of child molestation, attempted kidnapping and criminal trespassing.

“These are the types of people that shouldn't be on the streets, they should be locked up in jail.”

Flores says her 3-year-old granddaughter luckily seems unfazed by what happened.

“She doesn't really realize what happened, she's only 3. You ask her questions -- but no -- it all happened so quickly.”

Flores says this whole ordeal has really made her feel uncomfortable in her own neighborhood.

She says from now on she is not letting the kids out of her sight for even a minute when she is watching them.
