A south suburban man was arrested Friday after Chicago Police noticed him acting suspiciously and he admitted he had a gun along the Blackhawks parade route in the Loop.
Roger Harrison, 36, of Matteson, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's office.
Officers arrested him at 10:10 a.m. in the 100 block of North LaSalle Street, police said. A search revealed a second handgun in his backpack.
Harrison is expected in bond court Saturday.
Aaron Parks, 17, is in jail after police say he held a 24-year-old pregnant student at knife point and forced her to drive into an alley where he sexually assaulted her Wednesday afternoon.
Two people were killed and and at least 12 other people were wounded — including two people on the Kennedy and Dan Ryan expressways — in shootings across the city since Friday night.?
