Cranberry Almond Granola by Slade Grove
350g Whole Oats
125g Sunflower Kernels
60g Flax Seed
60g unsweetened coconut
120g Dried Cranberries
60g Coconut Oil
-Preheat Oven to 350.
-Combine all dry ingredients and toss to mix. Place on a lined cookie sheet and place in preheated oven for 30 minutes to toast. Remove from oven and turn oven down to 275.
-Transfer toasted dry ingredients into heat proof metal bowl.
-On cook top, combine honey and coconut oil in heavy bottom sauce pan and cook on medium high heat for 8 minutes.
-Remove honey from cooktop and pour over toasted dry mixture and combine well.
-Place granola mixture on lined cookie sheet and place in oven and bake for 1 hour. Turn and Toss ingredients every 20 minutes while it bakes.
-Remove from oven and allow to cool. Then break apart and store in air tight container
